On July 18, 2026, a training program titled “Capacity Enhancement on Youth Leadership Development Training” was successfully held at The Divine Chinese Restaurant, Habiganj under the ASA project implemented in collaboration with ASED Habiganj and Mass Literacy Campaign (CAMPE).
Youth members from different areas of the project actively participated in the training. The main objective of the program was to enhance the leadership skills of the youth, develop responsible and effective leadership, develop teamwork capacity, increase communication skills, problem-solving strategies, decision-making capacity and ensure active participation of the youth in social development activities.
The participants of the training discussed in detail the concept of leadership, qualities of an effective leader, importance of youth leadership, social responsibility, involvement in voluntary activities, strategies for bringing positive change at the community level and practi
cal leadership practices. In addition, the training was made more lively and productive through group work, presentations, question and answer sessions, and various participatory exercises.
The participants pledged to play a more effective role in youth leadership development, social awareness, education development, child marriage prevention, anti-drug activities, and other social development initiatives in their respective areas.
At the end of the training, the organizers expressed the hope that such capacity-building initiatives will play an important role in the leadership development of the youth and that they will play a leading role in bringing positive changes in their respective communities in the future.
